"Felt Like I Was Left to Figure It Out Myself"
The booking itself was fine, but the rules and extra charges were confusing. I had to dig around way too much just to understand what was actually included, and when I reached out to support, the answers didn’t really match up. it kind of felt like my questions weren’t being taken seriously and I was just being left to figure it out on my own.

"Total waste of time and energy"
Booked a Zoomcar for a weekend trip, it was such a letdown. The car was in really bad shape — dirty seats, AC barely cooling, and after a few kilometers the engine started making this weird noise. The tyres looked worn out too, which made us feel unsafe on the highway. We spent so much energy stressing about the car instead of enjoying the trip. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, just a clean, drivable car. Definitely not booking again

"KYC Got Stuck and Ruined My Booking"
My KYC on Zoomcar just stayed pending even after I uploaded clear documents. I tried reuploading them a few times, but nothing changed. Support kept sending the same copy-paste replies with no proper update, which was mentally draining after a point. My whole booking plan got wasted because the verification didn’t finish on time. Really annoying experience, and I don’t think I’ll use Zoomcar again.

"Pretty average overall"
Car was clean enough and it drove fine, so no big issues there. Pickup just took way longer than I expected, and support got back to me late too. Not terrible or anything, just kinda average all around.

"Roadside Help Never Showed Up"
So... I ended up calling roadside help twice, and nobody ever came. I waited around thinking someone was on the way, but it just turned into a huge waste of time and ruined my day.

"Still Waiting on My Deposit"
I’m not sure what’s going on, but my deposit still hasn’t been returned. I’ve reached out to support a few times, and they keep saying to wait or that they’re looking into it. Maybe there’s some kind of delay, but it’s getting frustrating not having a clear answer.

"Car was okay, but host communication was bad"
I booked a car on Zoomcar and the car was fine, no big issue with that. But dealing with the host was really not nice experience. He was replying very late and when I reached the pickup location, he didn’t even pick my calls, so I was just standing there confused like what to do now. Even while returning the car, the instructions were not clear properly. The Zoomcar app itself is okay, but if the host communication is this poor, it kind of ruins the whole trip. Giving 2 stars only because finally the booking happened and I got the car...

"Pretty disappointing car condition"
Booked a car through Zoomcar i was let down the moment I got in. Like, I wasn’t expecting it to be spotless or anything, but the seats had stains, there were wrappers under the seat, and there was this bad smell that just made the whole ride feel uncomfortable. I kept thinking, did anyone even check this before handing it over? Really disappointing experience overall.

"Refund stuck and support felt totally automated"
I had to cancel my trip, and now my refund has been stuck for weeks with no real update. Every time I contact support, I just get the same copy-paste response that doesn’t actually answer what I asked. It feels like nobody is even reading my messages, which makes the whole thing even more frustrating.

"Decent overall, but pickup was late"
Booking was easy, but for some reason the pickup didn’t happen on time. I ended up waiting around 25 minutes and had to call support once, which was a little annoying. The car itself was in decent condition, so no major complaints there. Drop-off was much smoother though, and the guy showed up on time. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but they definitely need to work on being more punctual with pickups

"Frustrating app experience"
Using the Zoomcar app was frustrating. Even simple pages kept loading forever, and a couple of times it randomly pushed me back to the login screen for no clear reason. Searching for a car wasn’t smooth either. The filters didn’t really work right, the location kept changing, and the booking screen just felt confusing. I had to tap the same option three or four times before anything happened. For an app you need before and during a trip, it really should be easier to use. I ended up giving up and didn’t book...

"Fuel Policy Was the Real Road Trip"
Booked a car on Zoomcar thinking the drive would be the complicated part, but surprise, the fuel policy took that award. I returned the car with almost the same amount of fuel, yet somehow still ended up getting charged extra. Support took ages to respond and when they finally did, the explanation wasn’t exactly enlightening. The car itself was fine, but the whole fuel confusion really ruined the experience. Not booking again unless they make the policy actually clear.

"I’m really disappointed. I thought I knew what…"
I’m really disappointed. I thought I knew what I was paying for, but then the hidden charges started showing up. Extra fees here, extra fees there, and none of it felt clearly explained. It’s frustrating when you keep getting hit with charges you weren’t expecting. Hidden charges are just not okay. I definitely won’t be using this again.

I might be missing something, but the mileage shown didn’t line up with the final count for my trip. I reached out to support, and their answers kind of confused me more instead of clearing it up. In the end, I paid more than I was expecting, which was frustrating.

"Simple trip extension turned into a mess"
I tried to extend my Zoomcar booking by just a few hours, which they make sound like it should be easy, but the app kept failing again and again. Support had promised they’d help quickly, but I was left waiting forever while warning messages kept popping up like I was doing something wrong. I finally ended up paying extra, and even after that the trip still didn’t show as extended for a while. it was way more stressful than it needed to be. If they can’t stick to basic promises and handle a simple extension properly, I don’t think I’ll book again

"Return process ruined it for me"
I might’ve felt differently if the return had gone smoothly, but the most recent part of the rental was such a hassle that it’s all I can think about. The drop-off point wasn’t clearly marked, the staff took forever to get back to me, and I ended up just standing around waiting for no clear reason. It felt way more inconvenient than it needed to be. After that experience, I wouldn’t use them again.

I’ll be honest, the main thing I was paying attention to was whether the refund actually hit my account. It did come through in the end, so that part was fine, but it took longer than I expected and I kept checking for updates. Not the worst experience, just a bit frustrating because of the wait

The app kept failing and I couldn’t get the car unlocked at all. I reached out to support, but it took forever to get any help, and it felt like my issue wasn’t being taken seriously. By the time anything happened, my booking was basically wasted. Really frustrating experience.

I had such a frustrating experience with zoomcar support. There was an issue with my booking, so I tried calling them and also raised tickets, but I barely got any proper response for hours. The chat just kept sending the same automated replies and then went quiet. Even after my trip ended, I was still left waiting for an update about my refund. it felt like once they had my money, customer support just disappeared. Has anyone else faced this too? I don’t think I’ll be using zoomcar again.

"Couldn’t Get a Car"
I don’t remember all the little details, but the main thing I do remember is that there just weren’t any cars available when I needed one. Frustrating, since that was the whole point of booking.
